ATLANTA - A newly released national study gives Georgia a grade of 'C' when it comes to addressing child dental health.
"The Cost of Delay: State Dental Policies Fail One in Five Children," was released today by the Pew Center on the States.
It looks at all 50 states and the District of Columbia, grading each on things like how well they are using policy to ensure dental access for children, including making Medicaid improvements.
Georgia received a 'C' grade for meeting just half of the eight policy benchmarks in Pew's analysis.
The report says the state does not reimburse primary care physicians for preventive dental health care, a measure that would allow more children to receive care. But it says Georgia has done a good job with providing fluoridated water to nearly 96 percent of its population
Why is Georgia responsible for a child's dental health? If you train parents to be lazy and irresponsible all they become is Dem voters.
You don't want your children getting flouride in any form if possible. Read some of the info at the whole body dentistry sites. It is a poison to their system and will not serve them well over the long-term. Brushing teeth with plain soap like ivory is excellent and I think they sell a soap just for teeth.
How do we know that the toothbrush was invented in Geogia?
If it had been invented anywhere else, it would be called a "teethbrush"
