Hammond Hill Elementary earns 2013 Palmetto's Finest Award

Hammond Hill Elementary School has been awarded the 2013 Palmetto’s Finest Award. Hammond Hill was one of five in South Carolina to win the award. The school was also recently named a National Blue Ribbon School.

Teachers and staffers react as Hammond Hill Elementary School is named a winner of the 2013 Palmetto's Finest Award by a livestream announcement. The school was one of only five in the state to win the award.

To apply for the award, each school had to submit a 20-page application and undergo two on-site visits.
