Richmond County school system to sell surplus furniture

If you’ve always wanted a student desk or even a teacher’s desk in your home or office, here’s your chance.

The Richmond County school system will sell surplus furniture from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday at 2950 Mike Padgett Highway.

Items for sale include student desks, teacher’s desks, file cabinets and stack chairs.

Aw, man! I got excited for

Aw, man! I got excited for nothing! I looked at the beginning of the headline and I THOUGHT it'd read "Richmond County school system to sell surplus MASTER'S TICKETS"!! Well, maybe I'll go ahead and put in my request for the extra Master's tickets that'll end up being "unaccounted for", like last year! Or maybe they're trying to get around the law by giving a "free" Master's badge for anyone who'll buy 200 desks! Yeah....that'll work.
