Woman stabs door 17 times, police say


Deputies were called to a home on the 3000 block of Tallwood Way Monday afternoon after a woman stabbed her brother’s bedroom door 17 times.

According to an incident report, Kimberly Phillips, 19, and her brother, Jesse Phillips, 22, were arguing over a cell phone at his home around 4 p.m. when she picked up a kitchen knife and followed him to his room.

Police said the woman stabbed the unlocked door 17 times but told deputies she had no intentions of hurting her brother.

The victim told officers he did not want to prosecute.
