Baritone Jerome Barry will be on hand Monday and Tuesday to offer a master class for University of South Carolina Aiken students and to visit with high school students.
Barry has given master classes all over the world and is a laureate of the McClosky Institute of Voice, having been on the faculties of Tel Aviv, Northeastern, Tufts and American universities and the University of Maryland.
In addition, he co-founded the Washington Music Ensemble in 1981 and has produced hundreds of concerts with the music of 20 countries.
Barry will offer the first master class for USC Aiken students from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Monday at the university's Etherredge Center. From 7:30 to 9 a.m. Tuesday, he will visit with students at Evans High School. H e is to offer a high school/community master class from 3:30 to 4:30 that afternoon at the Etherredge Center.
