WRENS, Ga. — A 31-year-old Jefferson County man was found dead Tuesday morning with a gunshot wound to his chest.
Wrens Police Chief Garry McCord said his department was called after 10 a.m. when family members reported finding Shaun Berry dead in his Stephens Street residence.
Jefferson County Coroner Edward James said the body was taken to the state crime lab for an autopsy. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation will lead the inquiry into Berry’s death.
