  • Follow Crime & courts

An Augusta man accused of killing and dismembering his roommate pleaded not guilty Friday to murder charges.

Altaye L. Knight, 21, was arraigned in Richmond County Superior Court on charges of felony and malice murder in the May 21 death of 27-year-old Damon Terrell Prymus.

Prymus’ remains were found in a Hephzibah field at Williams Drive and Wilson Road. Investigators believe Knight beat Prymus to death with a baseball bat in the North Barton Drive home they shared.

Knight’s case is assigned to Judge Michael N. Annis.

Dismembering?

Ick.
There is a guy on trial in FL for killing, dismembering and burying his roommate. Prosecution has introduced a tape of him asking his iPhone, "Siri, how to dispose of a roommate's body?".
Not good for defense.
More disturbingly (to me) Siri gives him several responses about how to hide a body!
Some people are getting way too dependent on their phones!!
