An Augusta man’s request for bond on a charge of murder was denied Wednesday.

Dequan Blake, 18, has been held without bond since his arrest in the March 6 shooting death of 18-year-old Montravious McNair.

McNair was fatally shot in the Kroger’s parking lot on Deans Bridge Road during a fight between two sets of young men.
