About 11:25 p.m., deputies saw Clifton Willingham riding a bicycle in circles at the intersection of Ninth Street and Ellis Street, according to an incident report from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

Due to recent car break-ins in the area, deputies approached Willingham and asked if he was carrying any weapons, at which time he said “no, check me,” the report stated.

Deputies found a bar of soap wrapped in a towel and 0.2 grams of cocaine in his back left pocket.

It happened in the CBD,

It happened in the CBD, myfather, you know, the "safe" CBD.

And they don't care about him, they want to know where he got it.

But, myfather, ol' Clifford

But, myfather, ol' Clifford has been to the Big House 5 times, for burglary and s/d cocaine.

So he doesn't work; where did he get the money to buy the cocaine?

I'm just wondering why Countyman didn't know about the car breakins in the CBD, he keeps telling us how safe it is.

I am sure it is the same in

I am sure it is the same in Charlotte Corgi. I have exited off of I-77 at the service station and eating place signs only to find I will not do that again. Every town has its areas where one feels unsafe if they are different and I know yours does.

I was wondering how this was

I was wondering how this was newsworthy as well. Read the The Jail Report, and you will find more interesting stories. corgi...pardon my ignorance, but what is CBD?

GodisSoGood, CBD may mean

GodisSoGood, CBD may mean Central Biz District. And they may have found the burglar, but if they haven't and you know who DID do these breakin's, PLEASE call the RCSO, Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS, or TEXT/EMAIL your tips to TIPS@AugustaCrimeStoppers.org. Where you remain anonymous and un-burglarized...

Corgi

I'm very familiar they aren't concern about him, and want him to roll on where he got it. I think after 18 years of doing this, I realize that.

But, my question was in reference to how this particular story made the media? I wouldn't think .2 grams would be newsworthy, but who am I to decide.

No, the places off of I-77

No, the places off of I-77 are ok, with the exception of Freedom Drive.
I'm comfortable anywhere off I-77 except there, and that's because there's a black college there that attracts criminals. That's the only bad place off I-77. But if you get into East Charlotte (not off I-77 or I-85, btw) it is absolutely frightening. If you stay out of there, you're ok.

Aside from Freedom Drive and East Charlotte, it's actually not that bad. I've been all over Charlotte, and for a city of that size, it's pretty good. When the DNC came, Char-Meck got a gazillion millions to beef up security, and I feel more comfortable in Downtown Charlotte than Broad St in Augusta. The dirtballs all know that there are security cameras everywhere.

The crime rate per capita in Charlywood is actually less than Augusta's. The police are very proactive here and they don't play, we also deport illegal aliens. They also got a court order against the really bad gangs (as I said, they don't play in Charlywood.)

The whole attitude is different here, from the police chief on down. The police chief openly speaks about problems, and is very honest and frank, unlike the sheriffs of Augusta, and their PR campaigns.

The citizens of Char-Meck gave the first member of MS-13 the death penalty. It's not a great place to be if you are a criminal.

Corgi, I guess we were near

Corgi, I guess we were near the college. It was horrible. We were getting gas and no one would let use even use the bathroom. No one was friendly.
