Approximately 3:51 p.m., deputies responded to the 600 block of Bennock Mill Road where a 20-year-old victim said fired shots as he worked outside on a vehicle, according to an incident report from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

The victim told deputies he was working on a vehicle with another man, identified in the report as suspect Terry Overstreet, when the two men got into an argument. The victim said Overstreet fired one shot at him with a black shotgun before the victim ran home, the report added.

Deputies attempted to locate Overstreet but were unsuccessful, and a witness told deputies he did not hear a gunshot.

No injuries were reported.

CG, that sentence doesn't

CG, that sentence doesn't even make sense. It would seem that the victim fired shots by the way it was written.

Hopefully the AC will fix it, we are all volunteer copy editors around here.

Headline suggest it was random.

Overstreet must not be a good shooter...missed with a shot gun that does not make any noise when fired.
Was fire-water involved?
