A 36-year-old man accused of repeated acts of child molestation was denied bond Friday.

Steven White faces child molestation charges in Richmond and Burke counties. Friday’s hearing was in Richmond County Superior Court.

Assistant District Attorney Laura Stewart said Friday that White started molesting one girl when she was 13 and a second while she was 5 or 6 years old. The abuse continued until the girls told a family member who lived outside their home, Stewart said.

Both children, now ages 17 and 11, said they told their mother what White was doing but she did nothing to stop the abuse, Stewart said.

White will be held without pending possible indictment and trial in one or both counties.

Arrest that so-called mother,

Arrest that so-called mother, too.

And charge her with multiple counts of felony child abuse.

Sadly this situation happens quite often. Women so desperate for a relationship will sacrifice their kids to keep one even if it's awful for the children. You're right she should be arrested and sent to prison along with her molester friend.

Just because she gave birth doesn't make her a mother. She was just a receptacle for the child. There's a lot more a real mother does for her children and protecting them should be#1. Why is there almost never a father there to protect the child? This poor child should have had a dad like the one in FLA. That recently made news for beating the snot out of a guy he caught molesting his son. Now that's what a parent should be doing.
