Victim identified in Thursday night shooting

Police have released the name of a man shot Thursday evening on the 700 block of East Chapman Road.

About 10:35 p.m., Richmond County deputies found Malcolm Foley Brown, 23, with gunshot wounds in the right leg and right buttocks, according to Sgt. Monica Belser.

Brown was transported to Georgia Regents Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, Belser said.

No suspect description was provided and the investigation is ongoing.

at giving a description of the perp......older Amish looking white male....beard....white oxford shirt.....left the scene riding in a late 90's horse drawn wagon.......
