Quantavious Deshane Wright, 18, was taken into custody at 5:43 a.m. after a struggle with Richmond County deputies, according to an incident report.

Approximately 5 a.m., deputies responded to a call about an armed robbery. Upon arrival, 22-year-old Michael Tickle told deputies he had been robbed at gunpoint by Wright at a residence on Hiwatha Drive.

After deputies surrounded the home, Wright was seen attempting to escape through a rear-bedroom window, the report said.

A pair of officers pulled Wright through the window, at which time the suspect continued to resist. After briefly bringing Wright to the ground, the suspect got up and attempted to flee, the report stated.

During the arrest, Wright grabbed a deputy in the groin area, prompting an officer to shock him with the Taser, the report said. .

Investigators and deputies found a .22 caliber handgun under the couch in the living room during a search of the Hiwatha Drive home, the report said.

stop

When a LEO tells you to stop, you had better stop. With no respect being shown to our LEO's any more, they have to think they are going to be harmed or killed if the perp does not obey his orders. Surrender, and you will not be tased.

2 things

1st lets drop the idea this was Hephzibah. It was NOT in the city limits on shares the ZIP CODE. IT WAS IN THE CONSOLIDATED GOVERNMENT AREA of AUGUSTA.

2nd What was the person that named this thinking?
☺☻So I looked up the name and translated it☺☻:

Below is an analysis of the name Quantavious.

The name of Quantavious creates an overly-sensitive nature which causes you to sense and feel far more than you can understand or put into words. (EMOTIONALLY REPRESSED & SEXUALLY CONFUSED)

* You have a deep, artistic, and creative side which shows through a love for music and literature. (PLAYS RAP LOUD & STUDIES RAP LYRICS )

* Writing is a more natural mode of expression for your deeper thoughts and feelings than the spoken word. (SEX-TEXTS A LOT)

*However, you prefer to avoid routine, monotony, and menial tasks. (WORK)

* You enjoy the out-of-doors and find your greatest peace and relaxation from the beauty and harmony of nature. (WEED FARMER or CHAIN GANG)

* You prefer to limit your friendships and associations to those who share your interests and appreciate your quiet, refined ways.
(GANG MEMBERS)

* Others often find it difficult to understand you. (LACK OF ACCEPTABLE LANGUAGE SKILLS)

* Your feelings tend to build up within you and, if you cannot release them through a creative, constructive channel, you could suffer with frustration, moods, and much inner turmoil. (BI-POLAR)

I understand what you're

I thought its mailing address was in Hephzibah, and wrote a comment which I have just deleted regarding that, apparently it is now an Augusta mailing address, at least according to Whitepages.com Boy it gets confusing, I used to have family that lived off of Travis Road and their mailing address was Hephzibah at that time and it is farther away from Hephzibah than Hiwatha Drive. Maybe they've changed it, because that wouldn't make sense anymore.

Just checked and Travis Road

Just checked and Travis Road is now an Augusta mailing address, too. Don't know when that changed.

Robbery outside of Hephzibah

Why is it that all these robberies occur in the middle of the night or early in the AM and INSIDE residences?? Something isn't right - - - I wonder.

TW, see my other post to you.

TW, see my other post to you. After the clubs close, and everybody is drunk and the junkies need their fix- that's why this stuff happens between 2 and 5 am.

Before two am, the dealers are at the clubs, one-stop shopping, and you go to where your customers are.
