Two lawnmowers and a golf cart were stolen early Tuesday from a Richmond County business.

Between 1 and 7 a.m., suspects cut a hole in the rear fence of Power Link Outdoor Equipment on the 1700 block of Barton Chapel Road and escaped with $15,000 worth of mowers, according to an incident report from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

The golf cart was found abandoned nearby. Deputies were unable to collect finger prints because the cart was wet from a recent storm, the report stated.

There are no working cameras at Power Link and the business has no description of the suspects.

The stolen mowers were taken from the patio in front of the main building.

They took my John Deere

They took my John Deere riding mower right off my trailer at my home. Cut the straps and pushed it across the yard. I hate thieves and hope the cut off their toes using it.
