Three golf carts are missing after being used at Friday’s Florida Georgia Line concert at Lake Olmstead Stadium, according to a Richmond County sheriff’s incident report.

The stadium at 78 Milledge Road rented two Club Car golf carts and was loaned an E-Z-Go golf cart for concert staffers to use to move equipment to and from the field, but when United Rentals went to pick them up Monday they were gone.

A Lake Olmstead employee told police he was unaware who took the golf carts from the stadium.

golf carts

The golf carts were not taken after the concert ended, they were last seen on the property Sunday afternoon. Sadly, the staff left them in the parking lot with the keys in them........

Black Market

You'll likely find those golf carts on the streets of Peachtree City this evening.

They might as well have hung

They might as well have hung a "Steal Me" sign on them in that area.

I missed this earlier:

Bianca Cain Johnson reported:

The stadium at 78 Milledge Road rented two Club Car golf carts and was loaned an E-Z-Go golf cart for concert staffers to use to move equipment to and from the field, but when United Rentals went to pick them up Monday they were gone.

Actually, it is not possible for a stadium to rent and borrow golf carts. An individual or a business can rent golf carts, but not a stadium.

Do I expect an update? Nah.

On The Tour Bus

Maybe they were "accidentally" loaded on the tour bus ... in one of the storage areas under the bus.

You may be right about Peachtree City, we have 29,000 golf carts registered in PTC. If you do not have a number decal displayed on your cart you will be stopped. The real problem with golf carts is , for example, Club Car one key fits all. They do this for the golf course that lease them. When they come back from lease they are reconditioned, painted and sold. When I bought mine I went to the hardware store and bought a new lock switch, under ten bucks and easy to install. Just dont loose your key. HA HA. They will probably find the carts in the lake where some thugs were joy riding and tried to drive on water.

Just patrol the neighborhoods

Just patrol the neighborhoods for a month-you'll likely see them on the road or in some ones drive way. They found them with the keys in them and realized it wasn't Bait car so they did their civic duty to hold them because they didn't want anyone to steal them. LOL>

Most electric golf carts I've

Most electric golf carts I've ever driven (can't speak for the gas-powered versions) don't even need a key to get them going. Just stick in any object similar in size to the key and it worked just fine. When I worked on campus as a student at USCA we used to run ours all the time with the key to my dad's storage shed with no problem. Paperclip even worked in a pinch.

I wonder if they were

I wonder if they were electric or gas.

Doesn't all golf carts use the same key?
