Francis Eugene Alan Murray was arrested Tuesday on charges of armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

According to an incident report, the suspect entered Augusta Metro Treatment Center, 525 Ellis St., about 10:30 a.m. April 25 and demanded cash from employees at gunpoint.

An employee handed over cash drawers to the robber, who was wearing a hoodie and gloves.

A Waynesboro, Ga., man at the facility told police he went to his car to get his firearm after employees screamed about a gun. Before he got back, the robber ran from the building.

The man told police he chased the robber until he jumped into the passenger seat of a black Chevrolet Monte Carlo and got away.

What in the world is going
Unpublished

What in the world is going on? Who ideas was this to start a meth clinic? They never open a crack clinic. The crack clinic was the Richmond County Jail. And look what transpired the loser robbed the clinic. I hope this make the genius behind this idea to rethink a clinic for a Meth abusers are more violent and peril to the public and it's neighbors. Meth is serious high and it's nothing a user would not do to get that next high. Meth- make crack users look more like pot heads.

Employees should be armed

If I worked in a Methadone clinic I would have been armed and shot him before he could run. The guy from Waynesboro is a real hero protecting his next fix.

The True Citizen,

The True Citizen, 2003-
Francis Eugene Alan Murray, 18, is charged with one felony count of armed robbery. According to police, he entered the store after 11:30 p.m., pointed a handgun at an employee and demanded the money from the cash register.

He's a career criminal, put him away before he kills somebody!

He was in prison for armed

He was in prison for armed robbery from Fayette County from 2003 to 2013- why isn't he being charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon?
