NA police identifies man wanted in home invasion

North Augusta police have identified one of two men who forced their way into an Atomic Road home last month, robbing and raping the victims.

The North Augusta Department of Public Safety is seeking Timothy Green on charges of armed robbery, first degree burglary, first degree criminal sexual conduct and kidnapping.

Lt. Tim Thornton said two men knocked on the door of an Atomic Road home the morning of May 22 and then forced their way inside. A man and woman were in the home at the time.

Thornton said the bandits robbed the couple and then sexual assaulted the female victim.

The second man has not been positively identified.
