Richmond County sheriff’s deputies were assisting residents in the 1900 block of Estroff Court about 10:30 p.m. when they heard shots being fired on Cooney Circle near the entrance to Jennings Place, according to an incident report.

A witness said she was on her front porch when an unknown black male in a white T-shirt and dark shorts emerged from a field and fired about five shots into the air. He left in a gray Jaguar with factory rims that was traveling toward Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Deputies later found a spent bullet casing in the area.

And in other breaking news,

And in other breaking news, the sun rose, and water is wet.

People firing shots in a public housing complex is, sadly, normal.

"He left in a gray Jaguar with factory rims..."

Factory rims.

The ones that originally came with the car? Seems as if that wouldn't stand out so much.

Factory Rims

Must have been a Columbia County thug. Our upwardly mobile miscreants wouldn't have took delivery until it was Donked. Bet it still had a factory radio.

An Arrest is needed

With Ammo in still short supply this was a despicable crime.

Oh yeh, the cops show up when

Oh yeh, the cops show up when shot are fired in the air down there......but they don't show up on the south end when shotgun pellets are hitting your house and car.

Next time I have to call the cops I am going to try and sound black. Maybe that will work.

I came to the comments on

I came to the comments on this story just to see if Dichotomy would see this as another reason to bring up the shotgun pellets again. I was not disappointed.
