Suspect at large after Thursday night shooting

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Friday evening a suspect is still at large following a shooting Thursday on the 300 block of Richmond Hill Road.

At approximately 11:40 p.m., Richmond County deputies responded to a shooting, where a woman had been shot, according to Richmond County Sgt. Glen Rahn. The woman was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a 5-foot-6 black male with short hair, possibly in his late 20s.
