Kenneth Islar, 27, was arrested in relation to a shooting incident in the Bi-Lo parking lot on May 29 in the 1100 block of York Street. Islar was arrested for unrelated weapons charges June 5, according to a statement from the Aiken Department of Public Safety.

Islar is currently being held in Aiken County Detention Center on several weapons charges related to both incidents.

On May 15, Islar was placed on notice at the most recent Aiken Safe Community meeting.

As an offender placed on notice, he was informed by a panel of community members and law enforcement officials to not violently reoffend or the consequences would result in his case being prosecuted swiftly and to the maximum extent of the law.

Aiken paper gave a picture of this thug and he's got the usual face tats of a loser. Why would the Chronicle have a map instead of a picture?
