David Johnathan Walker, 42, faces two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of possession of a knife during the commission of a crime and armed robbery.

Venisha Brown told police she had been riding with an acquaintance she only knew as David while attending errands, but had promised to give him money for gas. When they got to Telfair Street, he pulled a knife as they began to argue over the amount she gave him. Brown said he slashed at her several times while trying to get money from her pockets.

A nearby resident who came to her aid was also threatened with the knife. The suspect drove away in a green Ford extended cab truck with a possible South Carolina license plate.

Brown was treated for cuts to both arms.

Walker is believed to be staying in the Augusta area and is known to frequent drug areas, police said.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts can contact the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office at (706) 821-1020 or 821-1080 and ask to speak to Investigator Scott Herring or any violent crimes investigator.

She Got Left Out

Obviously, she got left out of the will.

My guess is that whatever she got from the will was spent on drugs in short order.
