Police work the scene of a shooting outside James Brown Arena on Sunday night.

According to a statement released Monday by the sheriff’s office, the shooting happened in the main parking lot. Both victims suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Neither was identified. One was taken to Georgia Regents Medical Center by ambulance, the other by personal vehicle.

The suspects were described as two black men, one of a slender build and the other heavy-set.

Richmond County sheriff’s deputies and emergency medical technicians were called to the arena about 11:05 p.m., a spokeswoman said.

I have to respond for the last time, because this is funny. I'm still a member on that site(senior member) and the person who continues to attack my comments.. The person uses the screen name Pu239 and has been called a troll(multiple screen names) before on the site..

The person Pu239 even tries to use multiple quotation marks.. Anybody can tell it's the same person, because the same comments have appeared on the AC before..

Hilarious!!!

And countyman/nortonguy/truereligion22/skitzy/augga706/Whole Augusta is all the same person. I have only one screen name per site... you can't honestly say that.

Dude... why so many persona? I don't attack you... I do attack the accuracy of your comments (and the accuracy is atrocious..)

You make outlandish statements then become snarky when you can't back them up... as your early city-data alter ego would say.. watevah!

Done!!

Why is my account still open if I have more than one account? I have one account on the AC and the other site.. Do you really want us to believe you only have one screen name? The poster Pu239 joined in March 2012 and only has 46 post.. Every single day somebody can read multiple comments from you on the Augusta Chronicle and I'm sure you've been commenting daily on the other site too..

I can think of multiple screen names(copied my punctuation) that attack my comments and they were all banned from the site..

The majority of my comments are based on facts and not my personal opinion..

BTW... you tend to call

BTW... you tend to call anyone that does not agree with you a troll... therefore I'm certain you are surrounded by trolls.

One last question... why did you drop off the map a couple of weeks ago when folks were questioning how you have such intimate knowledge of city business and seemingly post at all hours of the day?

I hope you have some good software to mask your IP...

If you reveal someone's true

If you reveal someone's true identity you will be banned. I had a "friend" who had that problem-course he got all irritated and his better judgment went somewhere deep up his derriere producing the said offense.

I attended the Lakeside graduation ceremony at the James Brown Arena on Saturday with a .40s&w concealed. As soon as it was over, I got in my car and got the heck away from there. Hated that I had to go there to begin with.

Biz... I have no idea of county's true identity... some say they know who it is, but not me. I do know he has many on screen persona (at least on city-data)

Yet he tries to discredit others that challenge his self-serving assertions?

Seemingly, many of his actions would make the most reprehensible snake-oil salesman cringe.

Sad day for Richmond County

Any shooting involving children is tragic. where they are from is moot once the firing pin hits the primer. Bullets know no borders, no socioeconomic boundaries and no race.

I thank God no one was more seriously injured.

Butterman... this one's for you

Im not offended at all sir, we have over half a million people but youre right my sister stays in atlanta & it is growing alot faster but we both know greedy investors & corporate intrest leads to certain areas not getting any attention usually the inner city. Which leads to terrible unemployment especially among young black males & poor whites, crime ,and create awful traffic. Im certain we well get a major sports team, we have the savannah river if u 4got and augusta the 2nd largest city and evans who have plan to build a arena this year the 4th largest city. Augusta still has a big city feel without that crazy traffic and where located between columbia and atlanta so we can go when we need to. Though atlanta may have more commercial space and retail & may have a bigger sklyine or more sports team but that doesnt all the time equal fun. Once again we have james brown music festival, first friday, riverwalk, bassmaster championship, boat grand prix, tour de georgia, and the Masters where people from atlanta and your city macon rush to get a view of the garden city, augusta has the masters to itself atlanta will never be able to have it. Atlanta may be the fastest growing city but it will never be the golf capital of the world

If my screen name was banned.... how would I still be there... the TOS only allows one screen name per IP right? Isn't that what you said? A poster can only have one screen name?

With regard to posting style... I have posted like this since back in the ICQ days. You will have no idea what ICQ is because it was way before your time, but you can google it... maybe.

The only thing they have in common is that they are not public schools.

Countyman in full spin mode

Countyman in full spin mode posting as WholeAugusta in WRDW FB page comment. "Whole Augusta Why do people let the media control their perception? The media will continue to report the highly publicized crimes over and over, but it doesn't change the crime rate. The media won't report a fight somewhere in a neighborhood, but any fight in the mall or along Broad street will be the top story on the news.. The incident on the Riverwalk happen in May 2013 and it's the year 2014.. The Saturday Market and Candlelight Jazz Series are held every week on the Riverwalk.. The Jazz Series takes place every Sunday night and people leave without any problems.. 95% of the crime they report as downtown happens in East Augusta, Turpin Hill, Harrisburg, etc and not in the CBD.."

popkorn posted briefly as

popkorn posted briefly as ellottness. My husband and I actually were the only too who showed up for an invitation to lunch with him in N. Augusta. That was back when a number of us posters (us is the correct pronoun) were interested in meeting and greeting and mingling and socializing with people, even if we did not agree with them.

Then another poster tried to insult my intelligence by telling me that popkorn and another poster were one in the same. Never mind that I had met the poster for the first time when he came to Aiken to visit me in my office, met one of his sisters and his daughter at his home, and spoken on the phone with both of his parents.

Those were the old days. I think this points to the fact that Obama and company have done a number on the cohesiveness of our country, despite our party affiliations.
