Arrest in Hephzibah slaying

 An Augusta man has been charged with murder after a body was discovered in a Hephzibah field on Wednesday.

Altaye Levelle Knight, 21, was arrested, Richmond County sheriff’s Capt. Calvin Chew said Friday morning.

Police were called to the field off Williams Drive and Wilson Road about 6 p.m. They discovered the body of Damon Terrell Prymus, 27, of North Barton Drive. Police have not released details on the death and said the cause would be determined by an autopsy at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Crime Lab in Atlanta.
