Levi Frank Jr., 29, of Third Street, is charged with felony aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, according to Richmond County jail records.

A Richmond County sheriff’s deputy conducting a traffic stop near Broad and Third streets heard a gunshot about 8:30 p.m. Saturday before a man approached and said, “Officer, I’ve been shot,” according to an incident report.

The victim, Shane Brock, 25, of Augusta, was unable to provide many details other than to say that Frank shot him.

A witness said he heard the two men arguing outside his apartment before the gunshot, according to the report.

Deputies found a revolver near steps at the crime scene. Drops of blood were found in the same area.

Brock was treated at the scene and later taken to Georgia Regents Medical Center.

Life in Augusta echoes the culture of a Third World Country. Shame to live in such an uncivilized society where thug life dominates the daily news.

My Family lived @ 305 Board St. when I was a kid for 2 years.

It sure has changed a lot.

I guess it is all that great political leadership Downtown has had since consolidation.

I understand DEVANEY Family later purchased it at some point.

These people are not typical

These people are not typical of Augusta. They are just typical of the area where they live and the culture they have embraced. Sorry bunch if you ask me. Thank goodness I do not live in that area.
