John Palladini told deputies Friday that he arrived at the home in the 800 block of Hickman Road to work on it so that it can be rented out. He said he came to the house earlier in the day and saw a unknown white male in the yard, who said he was a landscaper.

Palladini said he suspected the man was “tweaking,” and when he returned to the front yard the man fled, according to the report.

After inspecting the basement, Palladini noticed that more than $5,000 of tools and building supplies were missing. The water to the second floor toilet was turned on, he said, and a leak in the home’s interior walls caused about $3,000 in damage.

Palladini found two broken glass panes on the French doors that led to the deck. He also found two pizza boxes, a bottle of NyQuil and several beer cans spread throughout the house.

A neighbor told Palladini that the vandals had been partying on the deck for the past three nights, the police report says.

Vandals in rented home

and the neighbors did not bother to call the police???? After three nights of partying in that empty house? Not very good neighbors. Hope they feel ashamed of themselves to say the least.

In case others don't know what "tweaking" is.

Behavior commonly associated with methamphetamine abuse.

BTW:

REALLY LAME NEIGHBORS, for failing to call and report the 3 night long problem.

Here is a guy trying to improve their community by investing in it, and they could care less.
