At 11:59 a.m., two witnesses reported seeing a gray SUV with tinted windows fire 3-4 gun shots on the 1300 block of Laurel Street, according to a Richmond County Sheriff’s Office incident report.

No injuries were reported.

Deputies observed bullet holes in two columns on the front porch of a home, as well as bullet holes in a front window, the report said.

Deputies also located a bullet on the living room floor.

Certainly sounds related

to the on-campus shootings at Paine. Bad mojo.

Be sure to ask to remain

Be sure to ask to remain anonymous if you see something related to this and are not prepared to deal with retaliation. There have been drug/gang wars going on in this town for years and there is a good possibility if you report what appears to be criminal activity it could be related. Be safe! Protect yourself, your family and your property. And if you hear something that might be gunshots, it probably is, unless it is the fourth of July, duck!

On second thought,

On second thought, considering the murders on Glenn Hills Drive one 4th of July holiday, when I thought I heard gunshots while the firecrackers (illegal) were going off everywhere) and it was gunshots, duck anyway.

Laurel st.

This is a hell of a note, my Father, Mother and younger Brother lived on this laid back quite street. Like most of the rest of the inner city of Richmond county it had gone to hell in a hen basket. no wonder people of substance are leaving Richmond county.
