About 9:52 a.m., a black male entered Sprint Food Stores at 3444 Mike Padgett Highway with his face covered in a black cloth and his right hand in a black bag, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

It is unclear whether he was concealing a weapon in the bag or pretending to have one, but he did leave with cash.

The suspect is described as about 6 feet tall with a thick build and medium complexion. He was wearing gray shorts and a gray shirt.

Anyone with information can call Richmond County dispatch at (706) 821-1080 or the Criminal Investigation Division at (706) 821-1020.

Within 100 yards of the RCSO South Side Sheriff sub-station

How many robberies does this make now on (Hwy56) Mike Padgett in the last 2 weeks?

Maybe next he'll rob the RCSO Sub-Station Evidence room and steal a Patrol car for a getaway?☺

Right now it seems like the RCSO South Side could use some auxiliary Police out here also.

Another robbery

It is high time that they post sharp shooters in appropriate places, don't bother with "wounding", taxpayers would have to foot the hospital bill and jail afterwards. It is truly getting out of hand in that part of Mike Padgett Highway and something needs to be done, and now. Get rid of that scum!
They seem to get more brazen by the minute.

What is that the "suspect"

What is that the "suspect" holding in his left hand? It appears to be long and shiny, like maybe a, ugh, I don't know, a gun or something. Thinking out loud here but the bag in his right hand could possibly be for carrying out the loot.

It's been out of hand quite a while. Now it is totally out of control. Roundtree is not worried about preventing crime on the Southside. He has all the cops out playing Speed Cop. He's got a BIG program for DOWNTOWN while the punks use the store's on the Southside like their personal ATMs. There's no revenue stream in preventing robberies and break-ins. But don't worry.....they will show up and take a report.....if you can still talk. On the Southside, "community policing" means showing up and talking to you AFTER you've been robbed.

While we have some crime on the South Side

I don't see a need to start a SOUTH SIDE POSSE

YET!

That's because it is only a matter of time before some of our

   Our Good Olde Boys,

out here drop one or two of these Thugs in their tracks.
An the rest of this mess decide to head somewhere else for easier
pickings.

BTW:
My offer to donate replacement ammo still stands, for any legally justified self defense shoot.

I wonder...

I wonder if all these robberies would decrease if there were actually enough jobs in America for all the people who live here....?
