Aiken County sheriff’s Capt. Eric Abdullah said investigators were sent to Security Federal Bank, 50 Canal St.,  to gather information about the incident reported sometime around 10:10 a.m.

Nearby Leavelle McCampbell Middle School was on lockdown as a precaution, Abdullah said.

Police said they were searching for four suspects who left the scene in a older model tan sedan, possibly a Cadillac.

Three of the men are believed to be black males. Police said the men were dressed in all black, masks and had “large guns.”
