About 11:15 a.m., Richmond County sheriff’s deputies were called to 1933 Heckle Street in reference to the lab, according to a statement from the sheriff’s office.

According to Richmond County jail records, James Ted Tedder, 42, of Augusta; Mitchell Perry Pelham, 48, of Martinez; and Nancy Susan Wood, 63, of Augusta; were arrested at the residence and charged with manufacturing and trafficking methamphetamine.

Deputies and narcotics investigators said they are in the early stages of the investigation and more details will be forthcoming.
