An Augusta man says he was robbed at gunpoint Friday while trying to buy marijuana, a Richmond County sheriff’s report states.

The victim told police that he called a man who goes by “E”,” who came to his house with another man and $85 worth of marijuana, the report states.

When going to pay, the victim said, he accidently pulled out two $100 bills. One of the suspects then drew a handgun and demanded the rest of the money.

The victim said he instinctively lunged for the gun. “E” left through the back door, leaving the two men struggling for the gun.

The gun fired at least once before the victim was able to dislodge the magazine. The other man bit the victim four times, leaving visible marks, the report said.

The victim said the man then picked up a stereo system and struck him over the head several times, leaving cuts and a piece of plastic in his left ear.

After getting the money and hearing police sirens, the attacker fled in a white Chevrolet Impala with tinted windows, the report said.

The victim said he does not wish to prosecute.

How can...

How can a plant that grows naturally on the earth be illegal while the government who comes up with these laws makes stuff that is deadly to all life forms for tens of thousands of years? Doesn't make any sense. There should be a natural law: If it exists naturally on the planet, then, it cannot EVER be illegal. Where's the freedom?

This idiot told the police?

I hope the police laughed him out of the station. Pot heads, well at least they are good for a laugh. Although you do see why all convicted drug dealers should be put in jail for life. Any one who would sell posion for profit to addicts needs to be removed from society.

The coca plant grows naturally, however I am not in favor of legalizing cocaine.

"If he doesn't want to prosecute, why call the cops.?"

Chances are someone reported the gunshots. The article said that the attacker left when he heard sirens.

Which movie did this come out of?

BTW:

The RCSO can arrest him on at least 3 charges given his confession.
* Attempting to purchase Illegal drugs.
* Making A false statement to police
* Wasting the Baby Mama's money on party night.

A request to the local media
Could the AC discontinue such articles until after the Masters?

SOME REALLY OLD SCHOOL NATURALS

Nightshade
Hemlock
Strychnine
Curare
Monkshood
Bottelboom

BTW: The Promiscuous of the world are glad for the experiments regarding arsenic compounds. If memory serves me, somewhere in the 600's for experiments, Salvarsan was discovered. It lead to the discovery of penicillin, was used to treat syphilis..... in a less OLD SCHOOL Painful manner.

What a crying shame...

you can't even break the law without some crook taking advantage of you.

We need more legislation to protect lawbreakers from other lawbreakers.

So, let me get this

So, let me get this straight.

He was robbed, but then he disarmed the guy, and in the process there was destruction of property and ... biting?

Then they fled in -- wait for it -- the requisite Chevy Impala. No other witnesses, no desire to press charges ...

If I were on this investigation, I would be seriously investigating the domestic violence or solicitation angle.

The "gunpoint robbery with Chevy Impala" story is just starting to sound a bit too familiar ...

Hopefully they bothered to pull DNA from saliva at the bites.

"The victim said the man then

"The victim said the man then picked up a stereo system and struck him over the head several times, leaving cuts and a piece of plastic in his left ear." I don't know. It just seemed worth repeating. How odd. Maybe the piece of plastic was part of a speaker. If he could have stuffed another speaker piece in his right ear, he could have had stereo.

Funny As "You Know What"

Even though "E"'s 'associate' pulled a gun, could've killed him, beat him with a stereo, and this jughead does not want to press charges ??!! You can't make this crap up !! When I read the last sentence, I almost wet myself...

Here is the sad part, you and I are paying for all this with our tax money. We support the "victim" and the dealer and the police who have to deal with all this. Then there are the bystanders who are shot by these scum and robbed to support thier habit.

It has been a great story for a good laugh! I think Raul's response wins the prize. Keep up the good work, Travis!
