Jackie Ray Beasley Jr., 43, and Heather Studer, 24, have been charged with felony counts of manufacturing methamphetamine, trafficking methamphetamine and possession of cocaine, according to a statement from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

About 7:30 a.m., deputies were called to the Economy Inn at 3061 Deans Bridge Road, where they found what appeared to be narcotics paraphernalia.

Narcotics investigators were called in and found “six precursors for successfully manufacturing methamphetamines,” according to the release.

Investigators seized 1.2 grams of methamphetamine and 2.1 grams of cocaine at the scene.

This is why I refuse to stay

This is why I refuse to stay at a Richmond County hotel. Between the meth labs and the prostitutes, none of them are safe.

Depends on where you stay

Depends on where you stay Corgi. Economy Inn is a cheap one. Stay at the Holiday Inn or any of the nice ones at I-20 and Washington Rd and you will pay more but you will get more.

Isn't that then same woman that was arrested not too long ago for some stolen stuff with her uncle? I think meth was involved then too.

you refuse to stay in Richmond County Hotels, cause no one asks you to!

Jackie Ray and Heather have always been such good neighbors. They are (were) in room 101, I stay in room 103. I would never have guessed they were Pharmacists..

Very nice hotels in Augusta,

Very nice hotels in Augusta, Marriott downtown, one night all I could find was a Hampton Inn near I 20 Washington Rd, this was last October, paid 74$ and had a nice clean quite experience. The front desk people were very professional and I did not see any ho's or druggies hanging around.

Boy that young girl of 24 looks to be forty from all that meth and coke. Speed freaks generally have bad teeth and complexions.

Was it the scales, beakers, measuring cylinders and Bunsen burners which the cleaning ladies found when they came to change the bed sheets?
