About 10:41 a.m., Deputy Tim Hardin was westbound on Walton Way near the St. Sebastian Way intersection, according to a statement from the sheriff’s office.

A black Nissan pickup traveling east made an improper left turn onto St. Sebastian Way, striking Hardin’s motorcycle, the statement said.

Hardin, who received minor injuries, was treated and released from Prompt Care. The driver of the Nissan, who has not been identified, was cited for failure to yield while turning left.
