From Olive Rd To Deans Bridge Rd area

we have all seen a lot of Jaywalkers trying to dodge traffic.

Washington Rd has had a few deaths over the years.
Hwy 56 from Lumpkin Rd to 4H Club Rd has had a few deaths also.

Since the RCSO reason given
for the Traffic/Travel Papers Checkpoints is to save lives... and not revenue enhancement. I could see ticketing those playing Frogger
with vehicles as a solution to saving Many MORE lives.

Just start enforcing the LAW, any deputy could do this while on patrol. There would be no need to pull a patrol cars and staff off community crime suppression to accomplish this either.

Suggested Starting Places:
* Southgate to Motels across the street

* Kmart to the shortcut to the Apartment complex on Richmond Hill rd across from Hillcrest.

* Hwy 56 DMV

* Hwy 56 Regional Hospital / Apple Valley

* Washington Rd. near all the hotels & I-20

* Wrightsboro Rd anywhere between Daniel Village and the Mall

Think of the lives this would save and at NO additional Level of Effort nor unnecessary delays to Honest citizens.
