Jury selection continues Monday for Augusta man accused of triple homicide

Jury selection in the Adrian Hargrove capital murder trial resumes Monday.

Judge James G. Blanchard Jr., who is presiding over the trial, said Friday morning that the questioning of potential jurors assigned to Panel 2 will begin at 9 a.m. Monday. Panel 3 jurors are to report at 2 p.m. Monday.

Hargrove, 36, is accused of the Feb. 9, 2008, slayings of Andrew Hartley Jr., 45, his wife, Sharon Hartley, 46, and her pregnant daughter, 18-year-old Allyson Pederson.

Hargrove has pleaded not guilty to charges of murder, kidnapping and feticide. If convicted of murder, the jury will be asked to determine whether Hargrove gets life in prison with or without the possibility of parole or death.
