Two men accused of unrelated incidents of child molestation pleaded guilty Monday.

David DeLardge, 53, pleaded guilty in Richmond County Superior Court to molesting a 9-year-old girl in June. Judge Carl C. Brown Jr. sentenced DeLardge – who had previously been convicted of enticing a child for indecent purposes – to 25 years in prison followed by 20 years on probation.

Jody Jernignan, 37, pleaded guilty to molesting an adolescent in May 2006. The victim only recently told investigators what had happened. Brown sentenced Jernignan to 13 years in prison followed by 27 years on probation.

And those children will be

And those children will be traumatized for the rest of their lives.

Too bad they didn't get life without parole, they'll get out- and do it again, they are never cured.

Just like the first one, he had already done it before.

You're right they'll never be cured and our justice system permits them to keep victimizing the public again and again. The so called prison justice system must not exist anymore for these perps because they often serve their sentences and then reoffend.

Chances are

Chances are they will find out what it's like in prison...and may not ever come out. I pray they will not be leanient and let them out early. Let them share a little of the pain and humility they've dished out.
