Isn't this the location that

Isn't this the location that was intending to be an upgraded Walmart operation or did they opt for GRU to develop it into a eutopian community where rainbows fall out of your pocket like so many coins?

Hilarious!!

Why are some people mad simply because Augusta is growing? The sarcastic remarks come from the same few people who live outside of RC..

This Kroger is run down and the majority of people would love for this store to leave.

The majority of nice grocery stores are located in RC and Traders Joes should be the next to join..

The future new grocery store, hotel, resturants, etc on the property make the comments even more funny...

Cman, don't get bunched up.

Cman, don't get bunched up. We all hitched our wagon to this horse. Just b/c someone lives across an imaginary line, doesn't remove any and all relation from your county. I've lived in both and lived here all of 30 years now. But it doesn't matter if one lives in Egypt. If they have a connection to Augusta and the area, their perspective is also important. I'm here for better or for worse, and that's by choice. Do I have to be happy with what I consider monkey business and crony capitalism at all levels of city management? Not for a minute. Do I need to downplay violent crime? never.

So if you see only the good, never acknowledging the reality of things, you are a homer. And that's cool, we need that too if that's your thing. Just don't hammer those who see things in a different light man. Savvy?
