Restaurant employee robbed outside business

  • Follow Crime & courts

Robbers snatched a purse Saturday from an employee at Wife Saver on North Leg Road, getting the keys to the restaurant in the process, according to an incident report from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

No injuries were reported in the robbery, which occurred about 4:30 a.m. after the Augusta woman walked from her vehicle to open the restaurant.

She told police two black men snatched her purse after asking for directions. The purse contained keys to the restaurant, $60 and her checkbook. She said the robbers drove away in a white vehicle.

I bet the new Walmart loves to hear news like this about a Wife Saver restaurant close enough to throw kick a football to from their parking lot.

I am assuming the Walmart will improve the safety concerns in this area as they have multiple cameras and security at every store.

"She told police two black men snatched her purse after asking for directions."
This is the usual description "two black men" or a "young black male". When are black leaders going to step forward to stop this instead of stepping forward with their hand out? Thanks Great Society, liberals/progressives, democrats and black leaders.
