Olanda Attaway, 21, of Brown Street, was charged with felony burglary in the first degree, according to Richmond County jail records.

The victim, Porsha Thomas, 26, of the 1200 block of Holden Drive, told deputies she called 911 when she heard her back window break. Thomas was in the house with her three small children.

When deputies arrived, they found the stove overturned and Attaway under the kitchen sink. Police later determined that Attaway entered the house by standing on a chair and climbing through the broken window, according to an incident report.

Dixieman: My thought

Dixieman: My thought exactly!

ICL: The overturned stove; that is a mystery. Maybe she tried to step on the stove when coming through the window.

I do believe that area has a lot of old homes that perhaps do not have built in appliances and are often non-standard in size.
Anyway, the story goes good with my AM coffee!

This whole incident has a lot of unaswered questions

Sad like too many stories
once the Headline excitement is over we never get a followup with all of the 5-W's answered.

Example: What happen to that Lady Lawyer accused of Stealing that Diamond Ring at Crack a-Barrel?

The ADA that had a "borrowed" Pistol Stolen out his vehicle parked inside the "secured" parking garage of the NEW ARC Justice Building?

Please don't be coming into my house. You might not live to regret it.

Glad they got him

His type need to be off the streets. I don't see how someone could do that anyway.

"You might not live to regret it."

Or maybe just barely long enough to regret it.
