Police looking for Lumpkin Road convenience store robbers

Police are searching for the people who stole weapons, lottery tickets and cigars from a Lumpkin Road convenience store Sunday.

According to a Richmond County Sheriff’s Office release, video shows two people in what appeared to be surgical gloves enter Sunni’s Food Store, 2849 Lumpkin Road on two occasions about 3:30 p.m.

During the burglary, the bandits took a 12-gauge shotgun, a revolver, lottery tickets and an unknown number of Black & Mild cigars.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at (706) 821-1020.
