Odus Vaden McCutcheon, 54, of Central Avenue, has been charged with felony criminal damage to property in the second degree in connection with the incident, according to Richmond County jail records. He is being held on a $2,500 bond.

About 9:55 a.m., Richmond County sheriff’s deputies responded to a tripped burglar alarm at Planned Parenthood at 1289 Broad St., where they found the front door and right-side glass broken by what appeared to be a hammer, according to an incident report.

After speaking with Mary Pierucci, the regional director of Planned Parenthood, and watching surveillence video, deputies were able to determine that the suspect was a white male wearing a yellow skull cap, a black jacket, blue jeans and white shoes. He was seen carying a plastic grocery bag containing a hammer.

About an hour later, deputies received a call from Anytime Bail Bonds at 611 Fourth St., where an employee said McCutcheon had admitted to the crime.

The employee told police that McCutcheon entered the business about 10:38 a.m. and said, “I am not a violent person, but I committed a crime. I need you to call the police.”

When deputies arrived, McCutcheon admitted to the crime and stated the people at Planned Parenthood were “killing babies,” so he broke the front window.

Police contacted the Glass Service Center of Augusta, which estimated the damage to be $725.

Never understood why

this death factory was allowed on Board St. by ARC Zoning and the commissioners to begin with?

Imagine you can sit in a upscale dining restaurant across the street. As you are looking out from your table window, watching women entering the place, all while you are eating a fine dinner. Knowing by the time you finish your meal another life has been erased.

If they are going to allow this, then place it in the ARC Medical Complex area?

You do realize Planned Parenthood does more than just abortions? And it sounds like you're condoning vandalism.

Using their own data

https://www.plannedparenthood.org/files/PPFA/PP_by_the_Numbers.pdf

Planned Parenthood operates about 170+ surgical abortion facilities,
130+/- medical abortion facilities,
490+/- chemical abortion facilities
and 20+/- express facilities that are also chemical abortion facilities.

PPA provided data shows they claim to serve 2,850,000 yearly in the U.S.

PPA Provided Percentages:
• with incomes at or below 150 percent of the federal poverty level: 78% Mainly Poor

• who receive services to prevent unintended pregnancy: 71%
PC way of saying birth control and Early Pregnancy chemical Termination (RU486).

• Percentage of all Planned Parenthood health services that are abortion services: 3%

71% of 2,850,000 = 2,023,500 Birth Control

3% (PPA admitted) of 2,850,000 = 85,500 ABORTIONS
At 85,500 average per year (2013-1976= 37 years X 85,500 = At least 3,000,000 abortions have been performed by PPA since Roe vs Wade.

strong>A Few More Facts:

Congress kicks in almost a $billion$ a year to help USA Abortion clinics
and PPA gets big clunk $300+ Million, because of its political pull with
Liberal Politicians.

Congressional Record Fact: 1 out of every 4 abortions is committed in a Planned Parenthood facility. So 4 x 85,500= about 342,000 Abortions each year in the USA.

While there are about 170 PPA Abortion clinics in the USA performing 85,500 (PPA figures) that mean the average is 503 abortion per clinic.
This is why I call it a PPA DEATH FACTORY.

More lives were ended in Abortion clinics EACH YEAR, than the US Military has lost in the last 50 years of combat.

AS FAR AS CONDONING VANDALISM PART
I understand his strong feelings, respect the fact he owned up to his crime, But he himself admitted he had done wrong.

He broke a Window in protest to what happens inside.
It should be noted he did not do what is done inside.
He did not take a life in doing his crime.
PPA cannot say the same about it business.

Wrong approach

This is NOT justified no matter how much you oppose an organization's activities. The descent into barbarism continues...
Don't do this! It just gives your opponents something to use to support their cause.

2 Things to say: #1. What PPA does is considered legal (even if you disagree) and what he did is NOT. #2. Is your name on the willing to adopt list? If not, why not or is it easier to profess your holier than thou attitudes upon the masses as too many others do.

Some history

95% of what PP does is perform abortions
Abortion is legal, BUT, just because it is "legal" does not make it "right". In the words of Abraham Lincoln, "No law can give me the right to do what is wrong."

Here are some quotes from my book, Freedom Heist; The Left's Theft of Liberty.
In 1921 Margaret Sanger founded the American Birth Control League, an organization that would become Planned Parenthood.
One of Sanger’s professed goals was to “control the negro and indigent population.” She has made statements such as black people, poor people (indigents), and immigrants being “human weeds,” “reckless breeders” who “never should have been born.”
In (1966) the year of Sanger’s death, Planned Parenthood presented its first annual Margaret Sanger Award in order “to recognize leadership, excellence, and outstanding contributions to the reproductive health and rights movement.” In 1966 there were four recipients; William Draper, Carl Hartman, Lyndon Johnson, and Martin Luther King (he did not accept the award). From what I have been able to discern via credible reports, King was pro-life and pro-
contraception. Why would he receive an award from Planned Parenthood?
According to Alveda King, in the 1960s, at the same time African-Americans began to stage protests and demonstrations for civil rights, “there began a widespread cry from inside government for legalized abortion.” She asked: “Was that coincidence too, or could it be that when we said we would no longer sit on the back of the bus, a
place was being reserved for us down at the abortion clinic?”

According to Sanger, “We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is
through a religious appeal. We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”

By the way, where are PP locations? Why, in urban inner city areas.

By the way: “Planned Parenthood and the Los Angeles Unified School District have teamed up in an unusual collaboration to reduce the number of unplanned teen pregnancies at Roosevelt High School.
Students can visit the on-campus health clinic to get free birth control, pregnancy tests, counseling and screening for sexually transmitted diseases.”

PP is an abomination, plain and simple, AND, I will be glad to donate to Odus' legal fund. FOR THE RECORD, had Odus shot someone or torched the place, then I would not be willing to contribute. Seeing as how the man lives with this carnage in his neighborhood and decided to break a window, I'll donate. I wonder if Eric Holder will bus people down here at taxpayer expense to protest.

All I will say is that

All I will say is that conservatives better stay away from abortion as an issue if they want to win back the Senate and the WH.

KSL - I Agree with you.....

Personally I feel BOTH Parties at the Federal level need to stay out of a lot of things where it is better for communities to have control.

I know the history of Sanger and you are correct. I am curious though, if you believe the mission of PP is the same today as it was then? It is hard for me to fathom that in 2013 we would have institutionalized genocide.

I might add

I am happy that there is an organization that provides birth control to poor people. Poor people, as a rule, propagate at much higher rates than those of better means; which means more "less" productive people in the system. That is not healthy for a system like ours where politicians insist on propping up those people. It is a recipe for societal collapse.

Pretty callous analysis huh? Sorry, but as a pragmatist I have to look at end results and how to avoid them, without emotion attached.

Who's going to fix the babies?

This man was wrong in breaking the glass and I don't know exactly what was going on inside his head but apparently his reasoning returned and he knew he had to turn himself in. However, the crime being done inside that place is far greater than the glass he broke. The glass can be fixed for close to $800.00 but who is going to put those babies back together who have been torn from limb to limb? How much is a life worth? People say its a "choice"; well the choice was made long before she walked into that clinic. It's not a choice, its a life!
