Police have issued an arrest warrant for John Lyndon Upson for robbery while armed with a deadly weapon, according to a statement from public safety.

On Wednesday, two men approached an employee at Captain D’s at 1907 Whiskey Road while he was taking out trash. One of the suspects put a gun to the employee’s head and told another employee to open the store’s safe, the statement said.

After the safe was opened, the employees were put into the restaurant’s cooler.
