A man was in serious condition Monday night after being shot on Cooney Circle.

About 7:22 p.m., Richmond County sheriff’s deputies were called to Jennings Homes in the 1800 block of Cooney Circle, according to a statement from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were told that two men wearing masks approached the victim, whose name was withheld, and one of the suspects shot him three times.

The victim was taken to Georgia Regents Medical Center.

Sure are a lot of shootings, stabbings,

Hit and Runs, drive-bys, drugs, burglaries, rapes, assaults and more happening in this 2 mile area.

Would seem like a good area to launch a series of random Traffic Checkpoint Operations to me.

JRC - What would we call it?

Paddy wagons for for Irish (non-PC) hence the name. PADDY Wagon.

I am not even going to go in the direction of what a Project Collection Wagon would be called.

dichotomy - but think of the Prison Labor

All the Political Lawn Care "contracts" that could be eliminated by giving a Prisoner a Lawn mower and a weeder.

Heck we might get some ditches cleaned out on the South Side.

Sounds like some

revitalization funds (money) needs to be allotted (flushed) to this area.
