Salley couple arrested, charged with manufacturing meth

A Salley couple has been arrested for manufacturing methamphetamine after police say they caught them making the drug at their home.

According to a statement from the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, a 6-month narcotics investigation concluded Wednesday with the arrest of Ray Loudermilk, 36, and Debra Conder, 44, at their Poplar Street residence.

Police began investigating after the suspects made several purchases of Ephedrine, an ingredient in meth.

The Salley Police Department assisted in the investigation.

The two suspects have been booked at the Aiken County Detention Center and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.
