Police looking for thief using stolen credit card

Police are searching for the person who has been using a stolen credit taken from a vehicle on Glenn Hills Drive last month.

The victim reported that someone broke into her vehicle on Oct. 25 and stole her purse.

The thief then used her Bank of America card to make three gasoline purchases at Sprint, 2202 Gordon Highway, several hours later. The purchases were for $100, $98 and $58.47, respectively.

Survillance videos at the gas station captured the incidents.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at (706)821-1080 or 821-1020.
