Latasha Michelle Rouse, of the 2500 block of Georgetown Drive, was charged with robbery by force and possession of cocaine, according to Richmond County sheriff’s Lt. Calvin Chew. She used money that 78-year-old Janice Donaldson loaned her Wednesday to buy drugs, then returned that night to steal more money.

Rouse, 34, told Donaldson she needed money to pay her Georgia Power bill, and Donaldson drove her to the Georgia Power building on Walton Way to pay it, Chew said. About 11:30 p.m., Rouse knocked on Donaldson’s door, in the 3300 block of Blanchard Road, posing as another neighbor and claiming she was hurt.

Donaldson opened the door slightly, and Rouse pushed her way into the house, knocking Donaldson into a wall and onto the floor, Chew said. Rouse stole money from her purse and ran away.

Deputies arrested Rouse at her residence, where investigators determined she used the money to buy narcotics instead of paying the power bill, Chew said.

Donaldson was treated at the scene for minor injuries to her head and lower back.

Robbing neighbor

How low can one go - hope they lock her up and teach her how to get along without drugs and how to find a job and stay with it. Plus reimburse that dear old lady that had been so kind to her.

And I'm certain this ( robbery by intimidation and force) piece

of scum is on PUBLIC assistance, medicaid, soon obamacare, has a history of criminal activity and VOTES democratic. And the left wants you to feel anguish and sorrow for their SELF-INFLICTED circumstances. The last time I paid my taxes, which is every day, the gubmint was still giving free educations through high school. Every time you hear of a case such as this, thank your democratic friends.
