CONWAY, S.C. — A Conway High School teacher has been arrested and accused of having an improper relationship with a student.

Twenty-six-year-old Courtney Ruth Martin of Aynor was arrested earlier this week and has been placed on administrative leave while the case is investigated.

Martin is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. It was not clear if she has a lawyer.

Conway Police Lt. Selena Small said an investigation determined that Martin was involved in inappropriate behavior with a student between August 2012 and Oct 29 of this year.

Martin is an English teacher and was placed on leave Oct. 29.

She is also accused of sending improper photos to the student.

The student told police he was involved in a relationship with the teacher.

What is with these

What is with these teachers??? You really can't find someone your own age to diddle with? Is it really worth putting your career and your reputation on the line?
