Police are looking for a man who robbed a North Augusta Dollar General on Saturday evening.

About 9 p.m., a man wearing all black entered the store at 203 Edgefield Road, selected a candy bar and approached the register, according to a statement from the North Augusta Department of Public Safety.

After the man paid for the candy bar, the clerk opened the register and the man reached across the counter, grabbing money.

After a brief struggle, the man ran out and entered a beige four-door sedan, which was last seen driving south on Edgefield Road.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Public Safety at (803) 279-2121.

Might we add to the description?

So he was dressed in black. Don't you think it would be helpful to provide some other descriptors n addition to what he was wearing, e.g., height, weight, hair color, eye color or the color of something else? I know this is a stretch, but just maybe he might think to change clothes shortly after the robbery.
