Richmond County Sheriff's Office to hold 2 town hall meetings this month

The Richmond County Sher­iff’s Office has announced two town halls meetings this month.

The sheriff’s citizen’s advisory board will hold the meetings, which are intended to update residents on progress the sheriff’s office has made to make the community safer.

The board, started by Sher­iff Richard Roundtree, is made up of 13 Richmond County residents who meet each month to discuss issues that affect the community and sheriff’s office.

The meetings will be held at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 12 at Warren Road Community Center, 300 Warren Road, and Nov. 14 at Diamond Lakes Community Center, 103 Diamond Lakes Way in Hephzibah.
