The most recent incident occurred about 6:20 p.m. Sunday when a man pointed a gun at a woman as she parked at Bi-Lo in Clearwater and demanded she exit the vehicle.

She ran to the store as the assailant fled in her gold 2000 Nissan Maxima with South Carolina license plate IIA739.

Police identified the suspect as John Henry Blocker, 49, who already was wanted for a carjacking.

Police said Blocker flagged down a vehicle on Outing Club Road about 11:30 p.m. Oct. 15 and forced the driver out.

He fired several shots before leaving in the white 1989 Cadillac Eldorado.

Blocker also faces charges of receiving stolen goods from an incident Sept. 10.

Authorities said Blocker should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at (803) 648-6811 or Crime Stoppers at (888) CRIME-SC.
