Man arrested in Aiken club shooting

Aiken County sheriff’s investigators have arrested a man in connection with Saturday night’s shooting at Club 302.

Orlando Williams, 25, was charged with unlawful carrying of a pistol for his role in the incident, according to a statement from the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office. Police have also obtained warrants for Elton Valerian Williams, 40, and Brandon Oneal Williams, 24, for unlawful carrying of a pistol.

About 12:35 a.m. Saturday, police were dispatched to the club at 5092 Wagener Road, where a fight had broken out. During the altercation, police say that two people were shot -- one in the ankle and one in the left shoulder -- and a third was physically assaulted.

The victim shot in the shoulder remains in the hospital in stable condition, the statement said.
